Holding Light at the Edge of the Known IX

Description

The horizon line bisects the scene like a breath between thoughts. Above: possibility. Below: stillness. In the center, the character holds a small light, suggesting hope or a question. This is not a photograph of a person but a being between worlds. Gaston Bachelard reminds us: “The house shelters day-dreaming, the house protects the dreamer, the house allows one to dream in peace.” And perhaps, here, the lake is that house.
