This final image is a breath held open. I feel as though I am stepping from one dimension into another—light lifting me, identity scattering into bright particles. As Milan Kundera wrote, “The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting.” With every second that passes, the camera teaches me how to remember myself.
